This article points an investigation developed on a research project entitled “Mathematics Curriculum on Teenagers and Adults’ Education: from curriculum interveners to practice in class”, aimed at investigating mathematics curriculum regarding education of young people and adults, from a study of different curriculum interveners and of the curriculum developed on education process of this learning method. In order to perform this investigation, we tried to prepare a panorama of studies carried out about EJA, in Mathematics Education, in the perspective of a “state of knowledge” or “state of art” as established by Romberg (1992). The analysis from collected data has shown an increasing development of researches in education area, of teenagers and adults, mainly in thematic didactic and problems resolution, and a decreasing number of studies on curriculum development of Mathematics in this teaching modality.
