The present paper presents part of a research which aim was to analyse the processes of meaning making that occur, in social interaction, within a computer dynamic geometry environment. This paper focuses essentially the social interactions and their relationship with the development of mathematical meaning and it is structured in three parts. In the first part of the paper it is presented the study´s framework; in the second, it is described and discussed the methodological approach, and in the third part it is presented the research findings and respective conclusions concerning social interactions.
