This paper intends to be a short reflection on the possible elaboration of a conceptualization concerned with the professional knowledge of the mathematics teachers, its nature, its sources, its organization and its development. It starts from a global framework developed by the group of teachers and investigating that are working in the development of the Curricular Project IRES, that has as fundamental shaft the idea that the process of becoming a teacher must be always linked to the curricular experimentation and the educational research. It is through the research of practical and relevants problems for their professional practice or future practice, that we can facilitate the elaboration of a professional practical knowledge.
