This paper presents some remarks on Oral History seen as a qualitative research approach and builds up a brief sketch of the investigations produced according to this method in Brazil. In order to do this, we particularly put the focus on those researches developed by the Brazilian Research Group “Oral History and Mathematics Education” (GHOEM).
