Livros escolares de Matemática, no Estado Novo: um olhar sobre o seu percurso

In the Estado Novo, in Portugal, in which it respects to school manuals, the regime of the only book was in force, between 1947 and 1974. This article takes as a reference the dissertation of Master’s degree of the author and it begins with a general overview concerning the history of this regime at the prescriptive level, one intends also, to respond to the question: Which were the benefits and drawbacks of this regime? At a second moment, it refers to the Lyceum’s schoolbook(s) of Mathematics and presents a list of the books that, along this period, applied at the contests to select it, witch shows the only book was not always a reality.
