Extension of submission deadline: thematic issue 2024

Advancing Research and Practice in Integrating Computational Thinking in Mathematics Education

Due to an unexpected long period of maintenance on our journal's submission system, combined with several requests from potential contributors for additional time to refine their manuscripts, we have decided to extend the submission deadline for the special issue of Quadrante dedicated to “Advancing Research and Practice in Integrating Computational Thinking in Mathematics Education” (call for papers here: https://quadrante.apm.pt/announcement/view/190).

The new deadline for manuscript submissions is July 31, 2024.

We understand that the integration of computational thinking (CT) into mathematics education is a dynamic and evolving area of research that demands careful thought and innovative approaches. This extension aims to provide all researchers with sufficient time to prepare and submit their work, ensuring that the special issue reflects the depth and breadth of current research efforts.

We encourage submissions that explore the intersection of CT and mathematics education across all educational stages.

Manuscript submission information:

The call for papers invites original theoretical or empirical contributions that align with the theme of the thematic issue. Submissions are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French, and must not exceed 8000 words, adhering to the publication norms of Quadrante, available at https://quadrante.apm.pt/index.php/quadrante/about/submissions

Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
